Hi there, I’m Chaya, a UX designer living in Burbank, CA. As a UX designer I focus on crafting purposeful solutions to address user issues and equip stakeholders with crucial user research insights. Furthermore, I excel in strategically conceptualizing the information architecture of products, ensuring optimal usability and user-centric experiences.

My design philosophy revolves around prioritizing the user, and I believe that research should be the foundation of design decisions. I am fueled by the values cultivated from my upbringing. Growing up with parents who worked as an educator and a psychotherapist, I was immersed in a nurturing environment that influenced my perspective and instilled in me a genuine love for understanding diverse individuals.  Observing my parents' interactions with their students and clients provided invaluable lessons on empathy and compassion which I apply to pursue a fulfilling and purposeful career.

In 2021 I secured a teaching position in Phoenix, Arizona. Through the path of education, I discovered the joy of establishing personal connections with students and applying my creative and analytical abilities in lesson planning and delivery. However, it was my exploration of User Experience (UX) design that truly sparked a revelation within me. UX design seamlessly merges my innate inclination for understanding, empathizing, analyzing, and effective communication, offering an outlet for my passion for design.
